How to make a simple bow

You will need

14  inches of 7/8 grosgrain ribbon
3 inches of 3/8  grosgrain ribbon for the center

This is really so simple that anyone can try it with no difficulty at all.

1. Mark the center of the 14 inches ribbon(7/8 grosgrain ribbon) ) with a pencil mark.

2.  Holding one end of the ribbon,  form a loop by placing the end of the top of the center mark. This will form the top half of a figurative-eight shape. 

3. Make the bottom half of the figure-eight by looping the other end of the ribbon.

4.Bring the top half of the upper loop down to the center and hold it at  the point where the ribbons cross

5. Do the same way with the other half.

6. Place clips or clothespins on each side of the center point. This way, its easier to tie the bow. 

7. This is how it looks  after tying the bow.

8. Tie a knot in the center of 3/8" ribbon.

9. Bring one end of the knotted ribbon to the back of the bow. Bring the other end to the back, glue in place and trim excess ribbon. This is how it looks when you are finish. ENJOY!
